A new interpretation of one of my very first recipes
So exciting, the house is almost ready for photography.
I finally found the perfect little black sideboard that fits perfectly in the chart on the sloping wall between the living room and kitchen-dining room. There even 2 small drawers that fit perfectly for keys and mobile lines. Juubii it means that the house is nearing completion, and ready for photography. I have said no to the photo session in January, because I think there should be green outside so you can open the large folding doors. But in April / May there will be a photographer and a stylist and take pictures for a living leaf. I am so excited about what they can get out of it. Orødagen
BUGIisland's my “nickname” for Orø, so it is obvious to make a presentation on the project I just sit with….. Indeed, I will take the last adjustments of a new design for the annual Orødag. Orødagen (always the first Sunday in June) is a day when the island is open with a lot of activities, there used to be a fairly large program and free ferries for walking and cycling. For several years, they have used a card with a child's drawing. I was then asked by the island's new økonsulent if I could make a new design. The Holy printer halls reports everything ready for the opening on 2 days
Here 2 days before my shop BUGIstudio opens, notify the holy printer-halls everything ready, 4 printers and a plotter has announced ok and ready. Almost everything is cleaned up, I have been put new shelves up to items and a new great workbench. The site is utilized for max, there is not much available wall space more, but there could then just pressed a few shelves above the two printers. Furthermore, I moved in new fantastic “winter office” I am SO glad, there are windows and lights all around me, and behind me I have nice little cozy sitting area, just being here makes me in a good mood 🙂 Even if you have good light must be like rooting a little bit when working 🙂… Read more
One must spouts over a pad?
Today was the last items I needed for webshop, 2 boxes of pillow cases from the sewing factory in Lithuania. When I opened the box I was almost of tears, for they are just so beautifully done. I actually think it is small artworks, åååhhh so fine that I can hardly bear to touch them, but they let go not for a print 🙂 The hidden zippers are really hidden in the most delicate way and luckily I think it works really well with the charcoal gray I have chosen to all backings hørpuderne. Otherwise I good enough many balls in the air right now, and many little things and details that liiige to settle before the shop goes live. And so were printed cushions – and a single bath mat!
I reached one step further with the final details on Bugi island. I've had printed all the pillows on my new printer, All pads are in a nice linen quality (of course) with Orø related subjects. The pillows are big 80×80 cm, and the couch is also 50×50 cm and 30×50 powder cm. I have printed various Orø logos I designed blah for Orø lamb and the upcoming Orø Viking Festival (last weekend of July) and of course the weeping willow from the garden and a crab and a snake we caught last year. The small cushions are reversible and have pressure on both sides, the bright yellow is light gray on the back and the small pillows with wood is dark and light gray. Me and my tree
I had probably never imagined that I would have a relationship with a tree, but I have now. It started so well and ended sadly so sad. We bought well really the reason because of the beautiful weeping willow at the end of the garden, and great has been in all weathers, so great majestically! A bit from the device Bugi Island
Time flies and I am very backward here on the blog, sorry….I unfortunately lost all the link I had promised to put into, because my computer died :(. I've moved on with decor, but have not finished the whole house all details. Rumfordelingen works thankfully really good and am super happy kitchen, and especially the smart contact that is stored in the table, it is super convenient. For decor, I have used a portion of its own design, scroll Le Klint lamps, doormats and skobakker and soon pillows, dishtowels and potholders I expect to get printed next week. In the family room, I made a big wall film of Orø. It must seem like a kind of bulletin board with Instagram photos… Read more
Sun and joy in Bugi island
Here I am now at 4. fantastic week in summer countryside and smiling and enjoying the view. I have a hard time imagining that the holidays are ending soon and peace and quiet is over (right now there are a noisy pheasant down at one end of the garden, but otherwise, here quietly). We are at the end of a road and here comes not just pass unless they need something here, but I have just had a visit from one of OrøCykelklub who was bicycling with weekly advertising newspaper from the supermarket. The club is only for men over 60. Bicycle Club 20 Members organizes bicycle tours and receive money for distributing the local advertisements. Moving in
The house was largely finished and we moved in last Friday and has now been here for a week of sun and summer and it is so nice. At this writing, we are invaded by artisans, electrician and Bo and Lars from Laurbo Wooden houses which just take care of the last small things, some connectors were not set to, a chimney with the bulge to be changed and skirting. So it will in other words, that later today the house is completely finished juubii ... Monday we start with månelandksabet / garden. Nearly goal
So it resembles real, it's pretty unreal ...... LaurBO / carpenters had finished Wednesday and went home to Jutland and completely on schedule. This week, electrician and painter and make it last. Otherwise, there are of course various small things, the bathtub must be walled, carpet in the loft, switching plastic venting channels, new chimney due bulge, but all in all small things I expect 🙂 So there must be properly cleaned and so am I just so ready to move into….Jubiiii We stayed fine saint His Sunday, it started but with rain and we did enjoy the roofed terrace, by little logging was also really nice evening at the. Look, search and get inspired!
After a summer of our old-smelling home “Pap Castle” I would really like to start drawing the new house….so I threw myself fairly quickly into the task of finding and draw the new cottage. I started with some research and made inspiration boards to identify what was important. To start I actually mostly when I make design tasks. I highly recommend the approach because it gives inspiration, but actually excludes thing when you find something you do not like. Downstairs the cottage we bought, which was quickly named the Château du Pap as it really was junk.
