Review of the blades and tapering Cricut Maker

I myself have chosen Cricut Maker Machine, because there are so many different knives and spikes to the. It gives the endless creative possibilities, men kan også virke en smule overvældende og forvirrende i begyndelsen.

I have now tested most knives and spikes, and will try to give a little overview. I've had the most fun with "knife blade" and cut wood, leather and rough stock, men den kniv var også min primære grund til at jeg købte maskinen.

I am also quite fond of “QuickSwap” system where one can quickly switch between 6 different tips. Especially debos tip I think is fun, it looks really good in metal cardboard. Engraving tip looks super good in leather and I am tl to try it in some metal. I see opportunities for tapping tip, and false tips are good for short. Since I do not work so much with paper, I will probably not use corrugated sheet so much, men måske får jeg pludselig en gode ide.

Standard knives come with the machine

Fine Point blade / fine pinch

This knife comes with the machine and I'm pretty impressed with that it also can cut wood veneer and I have used it to board and all kinds of films also textile foils as glitter and flock / velor. Fine Point leaves can be used for purposes:
-Paper
-Carton
-Wood veneer
-Vinyl
-Textilfolier
-Glitterfolier

Rotary blade / round leaf

Also standard and comes with the machine. The magazine is intended for all kinds of fabric and thin or moving things as a pinch can come to destroy bla:
-Various kinds of fabric
-Crepepapir
-Very thin materials

Knife blade/Knivblad

Is an extra large sharp knife designed to cut heavy materials up to 2.4 mm som f.eks;
-Balsa wood
-Cricuts Bassswood (American Lind)
-Carton
-Leather
-core Leather

QuickSwap system / Quick change system

In this system, found in everything 6 different tips. You only need to buy one of the leaves Inc. Quick swab housing / holder. Then you can just buy the individual peaks, there are much cheaper. The tips are super easy and change. All tips have a number. Pen / Markers

The machine has a socket A for pens / markers and hold B to the blades and tips. Cricut sell more pens in different thicknesses, colors, black and metal (and infusible ink which is a system to transfer to the polyester, krus mm). Holder A suit Cricuts own pens, but on Etsy and Amazon to buy adapters, so that one instance can use other kinds of pens such. Sharpie tuscher.

Deep Point blade (black knife housing)

The knife is an intermediate between the standar ddeep point knife of “The Knife Blade” for very powerful materials. The knife has a different angle than the Deep point knife, and for the smaller model Cricut machine (Explore) that does not have the option of the entire replaceable knife system, er det den kraftigste kniv der er.

Cricut Maker is an American cutting plotter can cut, gravere, Debos, write, false mm. And with the recent "knife blade" can cut wood, leather, paperboard and cardboard up to 2,4 mm thickness. It provides unlimited possibilities

When I worked 10 years as a designer in the United States, is jegforholdsvis often in New York or San Francisco. The machine is "Apple" of cutting machines, super user-friendly design and software. One can even use the software from both mobile and tablet. Everything from the humorous logo and name "Cricut" (Games on cricket cricket, where the last part is replaced with "cut" for tinge, and the logo is the letter C with feelers) to machine, heat presses, solving tools and software are incredibly thoughtful and delicious. The software is called “Cricut Design Space” and can be operated from both mobile, tablet and computer. Along with all my other Textile printers I have actually a large cutting plotter already, but it is so difficult to use, and the knives are super expensive and hard to change, so there should not enjoy some of experimenting with different materials. Cricut also made pens and cut the foil with what they call “Infusible ink”, which is the same as the sublimation / dye sub ink, der blandt andet bruges på krus og polyester/sportstøj.
Markers can be inserted into the machine and draw on plain copy paper, then it is heated over to the mug or other. I've actually been looking for dye sub pens for some years, when I want to use them for my courses with children, so perfect for me. Also great with foil, where you cut his motives.
