Delicious nut cakes

Super delicious crispy nut cookies. Can also be used as bases for homemade cream buns

These nut cookies are among my husband's favorites, both as cookies, but also as a base for cream buns.
I think the nut taste comes out best if they are baked so they are nicely golden brown.
But the recipe is easy and fast if you have a mini blender or food processor.

RECIPE – Nut cookies 30 pcs

INGREDIENTS

350 (g) sugar
300 g chopped hazelnuts
CA 125 – 150 g egg whites.

APPROACH

  • The nuts are chopped in a blender- it's a matter of taste how finely chopped the nuts should be
  • Slowly pour in the egg whites until the mass is soft, not too liquid
  • Pour into spray bag and place on a plate (one can also do it with a spoon)
  • Bake at 180 C until they are golden brown (CA 10-15 min)
  • Cool on a wire rack
  • Can then be dipped in melted chocolate
  • When I bake them to the bottom for homemade cream buns, I chop / grind the nuts a little finer.
