Vanilla a sandy classic
Ice cream is a great thing at home with us and we're doing it in many variants. This is our basic isopskrift as we putter very differently in. We usually eat ice cream in a bowl, but right now we're slightly bitten by that bake ice cream even, they taste super good and in we bake them while the ice cream runs in the ice cream machine. Try for yourself, I have a delicious recipe for waffles here. We are also very happy with some kind of chocolate on top, either melted, torn or vermicelli. In fact, we always have a can of chocolate crumbs in stock (both at home and in the cottage), you always have to be ready for ice cream :). Incidentally, I am amazed at how expensive little tiny bags of crumbs are, but one can buy 1 kg bags vermicelli with Bagebixen for an ok price, it can also be used in cakes etc.. Below I've mixed in the vaniljeisen vermicelli. I only pour crumbs in when it has started to get a little stiff in the ice machine, otherwise it just sinks to the bottom. The ice cream is poured into an old ice bucket and is ready to go in the freezer. It is always good with a stock of ice cream 🙂
Because the whole family is so fond of ice cream, we actually have 3 different ice cream makers. We have two with bowls to put in the freezer and one with a compressor. In terms of ice, I do not think there is a difference, and none of them can freeze it super hard. The one with compressor you can always just start without planning, but the filling part, and the others one must remember to have lying in the freezer first, and it can sometimes be a space issue :). I think those with compressor can be quite expensive, but ours is quite ok and a less expensive compressor model as This from Wupti.com. I think it is smart that you can buy an extra bowl if you want to make more varieties when you are working.
Is not it is to be eaten immediately do I actually quite like without icemaker. Then I whip the whipped cream first and turn the rest in, it can make the ice cream a little more airy and easier to take off when you take it out of the freezer.
RECIPE – Vanilla ice cream
INGREDIENTS
PROCEDURE WITH ICE MACHINE
- Mix all the ingredients in a bowl
- Pour the mixture into an ice machine and start
- Run until the ice is done / the ice machine stops
- PS. Used alm. egg yolks, the whole mass must first be heated to above 75 °C, and then cooled
PROCEDURE WITHOUT ICE MACHINE
- Whip the cream to whipped cream
- Flip egg yolks, vanilla and powdered sugar in
- Pour into a mold and place in the freezer
