Nice to pick shelf flowers and make great homemade lemonade
Despite the lack of Sun in this spring, it is now elderflower season. Then you have nothing to do on the weekend, it is a good opportunity to get a little out in the wild and picking shelf flowers. Elder grows very many places, also in the cities, by sportpladser, Parker, Amager fælled etc.
It's easy to make the juice, and most kids love the shelf juice. It can also be good in cold hvidvid. In this recipe I have tried with rhubarb, I thought the tangy and sweet together was the perfect combination, but I think maybe not really that I can taste the rhubarb, but it has a slight hint of color. I think I will double the amount next time rhubarb, for the shelf has really a very penetrating flavor that has “drowned out” rhubarb taste much. Rhubarb or not so taste the juice really well, and my 9 year old “judge” said: “It is when you come really well from mom”, I think it is similar to 4-5 kokkehuer 🙂

I tensed a tea towels over a bowl with a rubber band and siede through it. After it had stood and sprinkled, I took the Tea towel and closed it, turned and angry it, and thus a lot of extra juice pressed out.
Someone proposes to freeze the juice down into isterningen bags, the idea is super and I have even tried it. But I have pretty bad experience with it. For as there is so much sugar in, It can be difficult to freeze properly. Therefore easy to get a lot of sugar-paste in his freezer.
IKEA has cheap patent bottles, but otherwise, I recommend buying some of the beautiful soft drink bottles to get the patent in larger supermarkets (the ones I have on the image). I love the lemon beer you can get, and plugs in them is super close, and so you get both nice sodas and a super nice close bottle for the same money :). NB. Any of the bottles you buy from isenkræmmerne is not very dense and can certainly not lie down.

It seems just crazy nice out. I had actually dropped to low shelf juice in years, When the family is in fact a little indifferent to the, but denneher should I try. It can give new life to the classic. I try with the double portion – Thanks for the tip also (o:
