In these coconut balls, I have replaced the butter with applesauce so they are less fatty than normal.
The marbles are easy and quick to make and kids love to sit and roll them :). Although there is no fat in, they are, however, with white sugar. If you want to completely avoid processed sugar, I recommend These fantastic Nut rods instead.

RECIPE – Coconut Balls approximately 15 pcs
INGREDIENTS
2 DL alm. or gluten-free oatmeal
1 DL desiccated coconut
1/2 DL sugar (replace if necessary with dates or syrup)
3 tbsp cacao
1 teaspoon vanilla sugar
CA 5-6 teaspoon of applesauce (CA 60 (g) to good consistency)
A. 1 tablespoons concentrated orange juice
Desiccated coconut to roll in
APPROACH
- Mix all ingredients and knead it with your hands into a solid mass
- Scroll to the balls
- Roll balls in coconut flakes
- Keep them cool
