Last week held my colleague Charlotte Selvig Svendsen and I, For the second year in a row our popular summer Creative & KITCHEN. View Charlotte's great draws and collages here.
We found the concept last year around April, and we ended up all sold out and the waiting list. This year it was so crazy, when I already in January!! got all 2 inquiries whether we stayed the course again this year. I hastened therefore to get it up on my web shop BUGIstudio.com and we ended up sold out and the waiting list for many months ago, a really nice feeling. We have now learned for next year, that mothers are very premature in their planning.
Although the weather was not just good every day, had we 4 really fantastic days with incredible sweet and well-behaved children.
We had 20 participants aged from 7 year up to two girls on 13 years. In a new year, there were also boys enrolled, all 4 pcs. It was a really nice experience, that children actually CAN work, have fun and enjoy themselves together in 6 hours straight with NO cell phones :). We were also very happy to have a, almost private, playground right outside the door, so the kids could just go for a jog, climb or play some ball, when they could not sit still anymore, it worked super well.
We had planned a new creative- and a bake task for every day, and with 20 children have enough to do as a teacher. Most days, I stood up all day. So when Friday afternoon came, I was a bit flat, but happy because of all the sweet active children. Saturday I cleaned up my kitchen, where every day I was preparing a dough, Sunday I kept free so first Monday I came to the bottom of my workshop.
All the recipes we used is of course on my blog, and 2 of them were brand new, below the program and links to recipes. The children were fortunately quite excited about it all, I had already tested on my own boy 🙂

Tuesday
Modelbyg & Madeleines with Lemon. It was built from recycled materials, everything from monsters to a cake rack.
Wednesday
Shrink Plastic & Coconut Balls (almost healthy with applesauce instead of butter). There was made keychains, earrings, brooches mm in shrink plastic
Thursday
Silkclay figures & crispy Cookies (with cardamom). Here was built the finest and funniest colorful characters besides a wire boundary.
Friday
Film T-shirts & French ginger biscuits. So many great t-shirts which can be viewed at the group photo.

Diplomas sent to the participant, and now I am ready to hold summer vacation with my husband and boy, it is both in our beloved cottage on Orø and a small trip to the Tuscany.
